Sustainable Communities
Action Network (SCAN), is a
registered community based
organization that aims at
improving the livelihoods of
small-scale rural farmers in
Kenya through sustainable
and ecological organic
agriculture approaches.
Our main intervention areas
are:
Capacity building of
community groups on self
motivated environmental
conservation and natural
resource management.
Mobilizing and training
community groups and
cooperatives on sustainable
and organic agriculture
production approaches and
healthy lifestyle options.

known as permaculture.
